Tamarind De-Seeder

Remove seeds cleanly with minimal pulp loss

About This Machine

The Tamarind De-Seeder is one of the most important machines in any tamarind processing line. After de-husking, the pulp still contains seeds that must be separated before the tamarind can be sold as finished product or used in food manufacturing. Doing this by hand is painstaking work — the De-Seeder does it mechanically, at 30–40 kg per hour, with minimal pulp loss.

The machine works by passing softened tamarind pulp through a precision extraction mechanism that separates seeds from the flesh without crushing or damaging the pulp. The result is clean de-seeded tamarind ready for block-making, packaging, or further processing. Because very little pulp adheres to the extracted seeds, you get maximum yield from every batch.

At just 2×4×4 ft, the De-Seeder fits easily into small processing spaces without any major civil work or infrastructure changes. It runs on a standard single-phase 1 hp motor, meaning it can be plugged in and running immediately at any facility with normal power supply. This makes it an ideal addition to both new processing setups and existing units looking to mechanise.
